KREMLIN
Known as a heart of Russia , the KREMLIN is a historical, cultural and architectural monument of global significance and one or the most recognizable national symbols. It was the seat of Grand Dukes, Tsars and communist leaders, and today is the presidential residence.
THE ARMOURY PALACE
The richest museum in the Kremlin, it was originally founded 200 years ago as the imperial Court Museum. The museum contains 4,000 exhibits dating back to the 12 th century.

- The Armoury Museum, the oldest museum of Russia, a unique collection of crown jewels, gems, icon covers, crosses, thrones, carriages, coronation robes and top clergy vestments, Byzantine cameos and Faberge Easter eggs.
- A kind of continuation of the Armory Museum is the Russian Diamond Fund Exhibition housed in the same building. It is state collection of precious stones and jewellery that have great historical, artistic and material value. The Fund was founded in 1922. Initially, it belonged to the Tzar Family of Russia. The Diamond Fund collection has been opened to the public since 1967. It boasts historical relics such as the State Regalia (the Orb, Sceptre, and Crown); rare gems and pieces of jewellery bellonging to the XVI-XIX centuries. Among the latter are the Orloff (189.62 carats) and the Shah (88.7 carats) diamonds, the world's largest cut sapphire (258.8 carats) and the largest of the existing gold nuggets - "The Big Triangle" (36 kg).
