Tourist visa type is a document which allows foreigners to travel to Russia as tourists. Such visas are issued for a maximum of 30 days and cannot be extended. A tourist visa is best when you know exactly where and how long you will be staying without diverting from your planned itinerary. For a tourist visa to Russia, you must have confirmed accommodation for every night of your stay in the country.

To apply for a Russian Tourist Visa you will need the following documents:

  1. Original passport (valid for more than 6 months with at least 2 blank pages for visa)
  2. Booking form and the Application form (available at this link: http://www.visitrussia.org.uk/visa/)
  3. One passport-type photograph
  4. Applicable fee (£115 - 6 working days processing, £210 - 2 working days processing)

Please note: You cannot obtain a visa from the Russian Consulate directly unless you have a voucher and a booking confirmation (a.k.a. visa support documents)
