Moscow Domodedovo Airport is one of the largest airports in Russia. The airport is located in Domodedovo, 42 km south-southeast from Moscow city centre. In 2017, passenger traffic exceeded 30 million people. Moscow Domodedovo is used by 71 airlines: 31 international, 26 Russian and 14 CIS airlines. Regular flights from Domodedovo are operated to more than 220 destinations. Domodedovo Airport serves as a hub for the following airlines: Red Wings Airlines, Globus Airlines, S7 Airlines, Ural Airlines and Yamal Airlines. It has an extensive flight geography, ensuring convenient connections. Domodedovo Airport has one terminal building which is divided into two concourses for domestic and international flights. The airport has a railway station with services to the Paveletsky Rail Terminal in central Moscow. The rail connection is provided by Aeroexpress trains. The journey lasts 45 min (coach class costs 500 roubles, business class - 1000 roubles). There are also regular suburban commuter trains on the Paveletsky suburban route of Moscow Railway. It takes about 70 min and costs around 150 roubles, but is infrequent during the day. Connection to Moscow is also possible by bus (ample luggage room) and commercial minivans (more frequent departures) to Domodedovskaya on Moscow Metro’s Zamoskvoretskaya Line (Green line no. 2). Journey time is around 45 minutes.
