Vnukovo International Airport is located 28 kilometres southwest of the centre
of Moscow. Vnukovo is Moscow's oldest operating airport. It was opened and used for
military operations during the Second World War. Terminal A is used both for domestic and
international flights. The Aeroexpress line connects Vnukovo Airport and Kiyevsky Rail
Terminal  in Moscow city centre. The journey costs 500 roubles standard class, while business
class is 1000 roubles. The journey takes 35 minutes. Moscow city can also be reached by the
municipal  Mosgortrans  bus lines: 611 serves two stations ( Troparyovo  and  Yugo-Zapadnaya)
on Moscow Metro ’s Sokolnicheskaya Line (Red line no. 1), while 611k serves only the
nearest Salaryevo  station of  Moscow Metro’s  Sokolnicheskaya Line (Red line no. 1). The
private marshrutka line 45 also serves this route.
